4th KP Assembly Sitting Marked by Ministerial Absence

ISLAMABAD, December 17, 2012: Starting 35 minutes late, the 4th sitting of the ongoing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly’s 29th session continued to witness absence of ministers. However, all starred questions (requiring oral replies) were taken up and responded to by the relevant ministries.

The sitting, which met for 131 minutes, was also marked by the low attendance as 28 out of the total membership -124- were present at the outset and 36 were there at the adjournment.

Additionally, the chief minister and the leader of the opposition, and the parliamentary leaders of PMLN, PML and PPPP remained absent.
