Rural Development Organization is a Buner-based not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1999 and registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961. The organization is working for increased political participation of women by running awareness campaigns on the importance of vote convincing the community to encourage female voters to take part in the electoral process. Furthermore, the organization is focusing on environment protection, youth development, human and institutional development and providing/seeking relief for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). |
