Balochistan Assembly: Adopts Motions For Presidential Elections

ISLAMABAD, July 29, 2013: The Balochistan Assembly, during the first sitting of its fourth session on Monday, adopted two motions in order to allow the use of the Chamber of the assembly for polling of the election of the President of Pakistan, to be held on 30th July, 2013.

The sitting was Chaired by the Speaker in the presence of the Chief Minister and the Leader of the Opposition. The parliamentary leaders of JUI, NP and PML were also present in the proceedings.

An NP legislator boycotted the inaction of The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) on Load shedding in Makran and Panjgoor Division. The MPA was persuaded to return seven minutes later.

Lawmakers spoke on 15 Points of Order mostly to condemn the wide spread terrorism and targeted killings  in the province and offered fatiha for the victims.
