Balochistan Assembly: Question Hour Deferred due to Minister’s Absence

ISLAMABAD, February 23, 2015: Starting 45 minutes behind schedule, the first sitting of the 16th session of Balochistan Assembly did not take up any question on the agenda related to Education Department due to the absence of minister, says Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) in its Daily Factsheet.

The sitting was marked by low attendance as 23 members (35%) were present at the outset while 19 (29%) were there at the adjournment of the sitting.

The Leader of the House and his counterpart, Leader of the Opposition, attended the entire sitting.
