Balochistan Assembly: Sitting Marked by Low Attendance

ISLAMABAD, March 13, 2015: The Balochistan Assembly adopted four resolutions amid low attendance of lawmakers on Friday, says Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN).

The sitting started 55 minutes behind the schedule with 15 lawmakers (23%) present at the start and 24 (37%) at the time of adjournment. The Leader of the House attended the entire sitting, while the Opposition Leader was present for 45 minutes. The House did not consider the Balochistan Children Welfare and Protection Bill 2015.
