Balochistan MPs Demand Restoration of International Flights from Quetta

ISLAMABAD, May 22, 2015: The Balochistan Assembly adopted a resolution on Friday, demanding the federal government to resume international flights from Quetta and run Boeing aircrafts on PIA flights to other parts of the country, says Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN).

The issue was brought up as an adjournment motion and converted into a resolution after the lawmakers debated it for 49 minutes.

The sitting started 35 minutes behind the schedule with 32 lawmakers (49%) present at the start and 23 (35%) at the time of adjournment. The Chief Minister and the Opposition Leader were both present during the sitting.
