ISLAMABAD, November 14, 2010: Almost 40% MNAs participated in the 26th Session of the Lower House that left 71% of the agenda items listed on the Orders of the Day unaddressed primarily due to excessive time consumed by Points of Order, says Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) in its Preliminary Report based on direct observation of the 26th Session of the 13th National Assembly that concluded on November 12, 2010.
ISLAMABAD, November 11, 2010: National Assembly met for an hour and 44 minutes during the eighth sitting of the 26th session. The sitting witnessed low attendance of members with only 58 members present when the sitting started, while 102 were present when the sitting ended.
ISLAMABAD, November 10, 2010: National Assembly left most of the agenda unaddressed during the seventh sitting of the ongoing 26th session. The sitting started 60 minutes late against the stipulated time of 1700 hours and lasted for three hours and 25 minutes. Although the attendance of members was relatively better than the previous sittings, the members mostly raised Points of Order to debate upon them and disregarded most of the regular agenda.
ISLAMABAD, November 08, 2010: The sixth sitting of the ongoing 26th session of the National Assembly met for three hours and 45 minutes. The long stretched sitting witnessed low attendance of members with 80 legislators present at the beginning of the sitting, while only 51 were present when the sitting was adjourned.

The sitting started 49 minutes late against the stipulated time of 1000 hours. The sitting witnessed low attendance of members with only 55 members present at the outset. However, the attendance of members was relatively better at the end, with 127 members present.

The sitting started 49 minutes late against the stipulated time of 1000 hours. The sitting witnessed low attendance of members with only 55 members present at the outset. However, the attendance of members was relatively better at the end, with 127 members present.
ISLAMABAD, November 03, 2010: The third sitting of the 26th National Assembly session met for two hours and 30 minutes. The attendance of members at the end of the sitting was observed to be slightly better than the previous two sittings, with 120 present. However, there were only 51 legislators present at the outset of the sitting. The Quorum was visibly lacking at various stages of the sitting, but was not pointed out by any of the members.
