Aaghaz Foundation is a Lahore-based not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2003 and registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961. The organization is striving for increased political participation of women through awareness campaigns and NIC registration, community development, elimination of violence against women and protection of human rights. Furthermore, the organization also runs voter education campaigns. |
