Ahmed Murtaza Welfare Society (AM) is an Okara-based not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2013 under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961. The organization is striving for women’s empowerment through vocational trainings, educating people regarding family planning and working with the Aurat Foundation. Healthcare has been a primary focus for the organization to improve the living standards in the region. The organization has collaborated with Shirkat Gah on two of their projects, ‘Naya Qadam’ and ‘Fempower’. |
