Development Empowerment Women Association is a Lower Dir-based not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1999 and registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961. The organization is striving for improved living standards through access to resources and opportunities, better health and education facilities and increased participation of communities in the electoral process. Furthermore, the organization is focusing on protecting women, children and minority rights. |
