Fatima Shafi Welfare Foundation is a Swat-based not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1961 and registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961. The organization is running welfare hospitals for poor patients of the area and has established welfare schools to provide free education to needy students. Furthermore, the organization is focusing on the rehabilitation of youth and persons with disabilities and provides interest-free easy installment loans to help vulnerable people come out of the poverty cycle and become financially independent. |
