Gender and Empowerment Organization is a Jaffarabad-based, not-for-profit organization formed in 2021 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
Gender and Empowerment Organization (GEO) works in close collaboration with local communities, elected representatives, policymakers, local organizations, line departments, and government officials. GEO has vast experience in a number of sectors including democratic education, human, child and women rights, education promotion, and community development. GEO has worked with UN agencies such as UNESCO, UNDP, WHO, UNICEF, and donors including Tdh-Germany, KIMSE YOK MU and with the education department. GEO has strong linkages with local governments, press, radio, TV, research institutes, women groups, educational institutes, bar associations, professional organizations, teacher-students unions, labor and trade unions as well as the private sector. |
