Insan Dost Association (IDA) is a Sahiwal-based not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1986 and registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961. It emerged as a humanitarian organization to work for democracy and human rights in order to shape a more violence-free and just society. It works for the deprived section of the society of their fundamental rights of freedom of movement, choice of job, access to basic social services, and subjected to extreme forms of physical, mental and sexual abuse.
