Kawish Welfare Society is a Haripur-based not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2016 and registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961. The organization works for the welfare of persons with disabilities (PWD) by providing them with wheelchairs and conducting advocacy meetings with the welfare department to seek measures to facilitate PWDs. It also works for the protection of minority and transgender rights and the elimination of drug abuse from society. Additionally, the organization focuses on the socio-economic development of neglected communities through skills development. |
