Mehrdar Art and Production (MAP) is a Karachi-based, not-for-profit organization, formed in 2017 and registered under the Companies Act, 2017.
MAP’s work and success stories include establishment of Lyari film and photography school, Lyari Literature Festival in 2019, Aman Baat Cheet Dhabba for conversations on various issues named HAALAWAL, a youth-based program spearheaded by a consortium of 8 civil society organizations named Azme-e-Naujawan. It has also worked on a web series named Hum Aapas Main, Stories of Sindh, training on skill development of youth, producing documentaries, films, campaign videos, storytelling on themes of peace, inter-faith harmony, responsible citizenship, cultural diversity, countering terrorism and inculcating resilience. MAP also works on spreading awareness of local, national and international issues including community engagement.
