Special Person Development Association (SPDA) is a Peshawar-based not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2004 and registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961. SPDA has conducted many trainings and public awareness sessions with Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) as well as with other community members to make a positive change in their behaviors. The organization has also arranged leadership training 3 times for PWDs. Furthermore, it has done an assessment for assistive devices and accessible washrooms for UNDP project RAHA in district Peshawar, Haripur, Swabi, and Nowshera. |
