KP Assembly Passes Three Bills

ISLAMABAD, January 14, 2013: Starting an hour and 17 minute late, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly’s 12th sitting of the ongoing 29th session met for an hour and 18 minutes.

All of the three bills on the agenda were passed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. Those were The KPK Universities (Amendment) Bill 2012, The Provincial Services Academy (KPK) Bill 2013 and The Travel Agencies (Amendment) Bill 2013.

The house took up four calling attention notices.

An adjournment motion on non issuance of NOCs by the Provincial Public Service Commission was moved and debated for 13 minutes.

The sitting was chaired by the Speaker. The Chief Minister, the Leader of the Opposition and the parliamentary leaders of PMLN did not attend the sitting. However, the parliamentary leaders of PML, PPPP and PPPS were present in the sitting.
