NA Sitting Marked by Low Interest of Members

ISLAMABAD, December 4, 2014: Starting 22 minutes behind schedule, the 7th sitting of the ongoing National Assembly session was marked by low attendance of Members as 45 were present at the outset of the sitting while 65 were there at the adjournment, says Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN).

The quorum was visible lacking at various stages of the sitting. However, it was not pointed out by any of the Members. The Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition did not attend the sitting.
