NA Suspends Regular Agenda Due to Assassination of Federal Minister for Minorities

ISLAMABAD, March 2, 2011:  The National Assembly suspended the regular agenda due to the tragic death of the Federal Minister for Minorities in a terrorist attack. The House only met for 11 minutes, with relatively better attendance of Members. There were 143 present on the outset of the sitting, while 148 were present when the sitting was adjourned.

The Leader of the Opposition, along with other Parliamentary Party Heads did not attend the sitting.

The National Assembly would meet at 1000 on March 3, 2011. Following are some key observations of the Parliamentary Business:
