No Agenda Item Taken Up in Sindh Assembly

ISLAMABAD, March 05, 2015: Starting 30 minutes behind the schedule, the 20th (last) sitting of the Sindh Assembly’s 18th session concluded without taking up any agenda item, says Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) on Thursday.

The sitting started 30 minutes behind the schedule with 71 lawmakers (42%) present at the start and 106 (63%) at the time of adjournment. The Leader of the House attended the sitting for 10 minutes, while the Opposition Leader was absent.

The House did not take up the Sindh Physiotherapy Council Bill 2014, the Sindh Pharmacy Council Bill 2014, the Sindh Nursing Council Bill 2014 and the Post-Graduate College of Medical Sciences Sindh Bill 2014 for reconsideration after receiving a message from the governor.
