President Addresses Joint Session of Parliament

ISLAMABAD, June 4, 2015: President Mamnoon Hussain addressed a joint session of the Parliament to mark the advent of the incumbent government’s third parliamentary year on Thursday, says the Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN).

The sitting started 10 minutes behind the schedule, lasting 41 minutes during which the President spoke on national issues for 34 minutes. The presidential address is mandatory under the Constitution at the start of each parliamentary year.
