Senate Passes Prevention of Electronic Crimes Bill

ISLAMABAD, July 29, 2016: The Senate unanimously passed the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Bill 2016 during 10th (last) sitting of its 250th session on Friday, says Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) in its Daily Factsheet.

The sitting remained suspended for an hour and 59 minutes due to negotiations between government and opposition parties on the aforementioned bill.
