Sindh Assembly Passes LG (Second Amendment) Bill 2015

ISLAMABAD, May 8, 2015: The Sindh Assembly passed the Sindh Local Government (Second Amendment) Bill 2015 during 11th sitting of its ongoing session on Friday, says Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN).

The sitting started 40 minutes behind the schedule with 35 (21%) lawmakers present at the start and 44 (26%) at the time of adjournment.

The House deferred discussion on the third quarterly report regarding allocation and expenditures of the provincial budget and pre-budget proposals till Monday.
