Sindh Assembly: The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Bill 2013 Passed

ISLAMABAD, February13, 2013: Starting an hour and 15 minutes late, the seventh sitting of the 40th session of the Sindh Assembly on Wednesday witnessed the passage of a treasury bill and adoption of two resolutions.

Fourteen members (8%) were present at the start while 53 (32%) at the adjournment of the sitting as the house passed the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Bill 2013.

The Chief Minister as well as the parliamentary leaders of PMLF and PMLQ did not attend the sitting.
