ISLAMABAD, April 13: The joint session of the parliament from March 20-April 12 saw only one-fourth of the session time being spent on debating the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) formed to review relations with the United States and general foreign policy.

ISLAMABAD, April 5: Starting an hour and 14 minutes behind schedule, the Joint Sitting of the Parliament, which met for three hour and 29 minutes on Thursday, unanimously passed the NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology Multan Bill 2009 and the Pakistan Trade Control of Wild Fauna and Flora Bill 2010.

ISLAMABAD, March 30, 2012: Starting 60 minutes behind schedule, the Joint Sitting of the Parliament met for an hour and 23 minutes on Friday, as seven legislators debated the report of the body on security.

Only Four Legislators Debate on the National Security Report

ISLAMABAD, March 28, 2012: Starting 63 minutes behind schedule, the Joint Sitting of the Parliament met for two hours and 16 minutes on Wednesday. Out of the 246 legislators attending the sitting, only four legislators – two each of the Senate and National Assembly - spoke on the report of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security for 47 minutes (35% of sitting time).
