FIRs for counterfeiting currency increase

ISLAMABAD, March 29: The number of First Information Reports (FIRs) filed for counterfeiting currency continued to increase with 44 per district being filed in January 2012 as compared to 37 registered in December and 28 in November 2011, says a Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) report released Thursday.

ISLAMABAD, Jan 26: A Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) report on Thursday said new cases of suspected AIDS, polio and probable poliomyelitis were reported at health offices in five districts out of 82 monitored in November last year. FAFEN Governance Monitors visited 29 offices of Executive District Officer/Health (EDO/Health) in Punjab, 18 each in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 14 in Balochistan.
